Knitwear - Intermediate 2014 

About the Fair

29th Oct, 2014 to 31st Oct, 2014 at Textile & Fashion Hub, Richmond, Australia This customised workshop has been designed to explore product development in knitwear. Having a solid grounding in fibres, yarns and knit structures, participants will be able to apply this knowledge to a variety of different knit contexts. You will be exposed to three state-of-the-art knitting machines at the Textile and Fashion Hub and develop products on all three of them. Key components of successful knitting will be embedded through each stage of product development including costing, make-up of knit products, design development, terminology, knit fabric structures, calculating fits and design considerations for different knit constructions.
